21w and have the flu
I'm 21 w 3d and tested positive for the flu. Feeling dumb for not getting a flu shot. My OB gave me tamiflu and omg I thought I would die ... About an hour after taking I started throwing up uncontrollably (I have hg and this was even worse), then I got severe abdominal pain and started to black out, then I had diarrhea for an hour.
There is no way I can take another one of those pills knowing what will happen. Sounds like the benefit is they reduce duration of flu by 1-2 days. But if I take I can't keep Tylenol down and fever is dangerous for baby.... Doctor out for weekend. Anyone had flu and had OB explain risk to baby. I was so deliriously ill at my appointment that I didn't ask enough questions.
