I worked at McDonald's a couple years ago, I noticed that there was a couple of employees who would feel like they had to lie about smoking just to get a little 5 minute break but when I first started, the General manager that we had (at that time) made a rule that non smokers got to have "not smoke" breaks, to give an equal advantage. Unfortunately, I know it's not like this everywhere.
