Prom dress? Help

So I have a question. My prom is coming up and it's hard to find a dress in a big size for me. Well i was wondering does a prom dress have to be the big flashy,silky gowns you would go and by or could it be something that you would wear for a fancy party like something lacy? Curious?

Now for the dress see what's trending on pinterest and Instagram etc, find colors that look good on you. I suggest going on YouTube and search for LoeyLane she is amazing!

Try a pastel blue or reddish pink if you want colors and if neutrals, try a nude or black with gold or silver

If glitter, then try a champagne or rose gold dress.

Something with a semi low back, ankle length, and find jewelry and shoes to make it pop.. Lmk if you want an example

If you're still not sure, ask around on what everyone is deciding on. If you go with a date, make sure you coordinate.

I think it depends on what you want! My prom days have been over for about 3 years lol but when I did go i always did it up really big with huge fancy dresses but thats just what I like. Lots of girls just got simple cocktail dresses. I will say that if you decide you want a fancier dress there is a store called Debs that has bigger sizes and Davids Prom also has bigger sizes too and they have a catagory of under $100 dresses. They both have online stores too! Hope this helps! :)

I usually shop at BCBG or Fendi or Chanel and they are crazy pricey but it's worth the 1500/4000 and that is not including the shoes and jewelry or hair makeup and nails (mom is a professional hair stylist and has friends who do nails i do my makeup)
