Do you help your baby stand up?

My 5 month old baby loves to stand up and my mother says it is bad for her legs, everything I read says that is a myth.

Per my pediatrician (some may be diff), babies should want to stand in these coming months.. it helps build the leg muscles for walking!  I tell everyone, Sayler will walk before she crawls.. ALL she wants to do is stand 😐 lol

Pedi actually asked me at his four month check up if he likes to stand. I said yes and she made him stand up herself. Said it's totally normal at this point in time. (:

My five month old LOVES to stand!  It also stretches and strengthens her legs!
