Help! My October baby up every 3 hours at night!!!

Kelly
My son born 10/22 is up every 3 hours to nurse. I started solids with him and it has not helped. I also tried cutting back the amount I nurse him at night and it ALWAYS backfires, he ends up crying for a while and ends in me nursing him more. I am so tired and out of ideas.
He does not do cry it out- it does not work with him. He will cry for hours, get so worked up and wakes up screaming after 20 mins.
Any advice welcomed!!!

I had the same issues & hired a sleep consultant.  Your baby needs to learn to soothe herself.  My LO is now sleeping 12hrs straight per night, & 2 -3 naps a day. Www.wellrestedbaby.com

My babe was born 10/2 and I'm currently going through this. She was sleeping 5-7 hours. Now she's up any where between 1-2 hours nightly for the last week. I'm so exhausted. I've currently been up for over an hour and a half. (4am wake up time) I kno she has gas too. I ate a little custard the other day and I think that's why. I had to stop drinking milk because it bothered her so much. She's a bf baby and she's getting some solids introduced. I just want to sleep again.

My son seems to be back on track... Hopefully your LO is as well! I ended up waiting about 5 min when he would wake up instead of instantly going to him and that seemed to help... Who knows! These crazy babies just want to make sure we are on our toes!

My little girl born 10/24 woke hourly (to the exact minute) the other night....so frustrating as she'd been sleeping a solid 8/9 hours a few nights before. I'm putting it down to sleep regression/ wonder week and that things can only get better from hourly wakings!!!!

Awww. Poor babe! Crying it out never worked for my little guy either. I've heard sleep regression turns into bad sleeping habits. Ughhh😑

Forgot to say, I tried to avoid feeding her at every wake up and just had to cuddle/ soothe her back to sleep. I don't like the idea of letting her cry it out-we tried it once and she ended up in a right hysterical state, totally not worth it :-(

I'm going through something similar with my guy. The past two nights he has been up every 45 min! But it's been about a month of the second his head hits the mattress he screams and crying it out doesn't work either. I've done so much reading and can't find a good solution. I have a weight check with his pediatrician Friday so hopefully she will have answers!

Then I turned it back on and when he woke up again a few hours later I did the same thing and it took him 5 min.... And then repeat. I need Friday to hurry up so I can ask his doctor though!

I will... Last night I couldn't get him to sleep until 1145! Then he woke back up at 1215 and I was like I can't do this... I turned the baby monitor on silent and listened from my bed and it took him 8 min but he fell asleep... Then the next to

No need to cut back on night time feedings. It's probably a sleep regression.
