How long do you wait to test after TTC?

I'm going by this app and having sex on my highest days so how long do you wait till you test?

I would wait at least until your period is late.

Answer

I wait 18 days after I ovulate, so 2 or 3 days after my period is supposed to come. I do this because the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler suggested to do so.
