Happens waaay more often then it should! but from personal experience it's possible to over come. (&& the best revenge is happiness and success) . It lets us prove we are full of strength/power and that noone not even someone who abuses us in the most belittling of ways can ruin us.

Yes I have. My brother Molested me from ages 5-19. He beat me bloody. Then my first Bf at 16 Molested me, beat me, raped me. Then a guy at the bar forced his finger inside of me, held me still. But be careful how you ask, these are extremely traumatic life experiences that I would not wish in my worst enemy.

Yes, I was sexually abused by my moms ex-husband from the age of 5 until I was 17. I have learned that it helps to talk about how you're feeling. Part of the problem is when you're abused it creates secrets which allows the abuse to continue.

Happened when I was barely 9. My cousin(13 years old) would make me strip down and he'd get on top of me and start kissing me everywhere. Sometimes he spanked me or made me feel bad about myself. He sometimes made me finger myself too or touch his penis. He would usually hit my little sister too but I busted his head open for that, literally. The worst part is when my parents found out and focused on getting my sister emotional support they didn't do much for me they just made me go to therapy with my sister so I could explain what happened to her since she was 7. I'm still emotionally and mentally scarred, with no way to cope and I'm 14. 3 years later some guy thinks it's okay to sexually harass me on the bus. Same thing happened to me on the playground when I was 7, ruined my reputation. Now I've been finding things I love and focusing on people who care about me to help me cope. Sorry to all the girls who had to go through stuff like this😥😥😥. Hope you got help.

It does happen all the time! We live in a rape culture that tolerates it and blames victims. Preventative measures are to be taken by possible victims but not possible predators.

It happens a lot more than you'd think, unfortunately. The first time I was sexually assaulted I was 6 and it was my friend's brothers and then when I was 18 and had just started my freshman year of college I was raped and he took my virginity and then I was forcibly fingered while really drunk and injured by someone who I thought was a friend only a few months later. Sometimes it helps me to know that I'm not alone, but what's helped me the most was getting a therapist. I would recommend getting one if you only have a general doctor giving you advice cuz it can help for a little bit and if you choose to go on meds, but only for a little while, at least for me anyway. I'm so sorry. Know that you're safe now and that you will get through this. Coping with my stuff has been really hard, and I still have my bad days, but getting into baking and cooking has really helped me and just focusing on school and goals for my future. Getting rid of anything or anyone whose negative and focusing on the positives and coping is the best thing one can do to heal honestly. Yes i got sexually abused/molested from 13-18 and sexually assaulted on a night out on drugs where I blacked out when I was 18 and attempted rape by someone I met online at 20. And my ex boyfriend role played raping me during an argument to see if I would scream.
