Should we name our baby Samantha?

My husbands name is Samuel. Obviously everyone calls him Sam/Sammy. He wants to name our daughter Samantha's. Which again people will probably call her Sam/Sammy. I think it will be confusing but I'm not completely opposed. My family and his family both like it. I think I just need unbiased opinions. ( btw I do not offend easily)

Thanks everyone. We decided on Samantha Claire Norris. Everyone names boys after their dads, why not girls lol.

I think it's cute, and not very common right now which is a plus to me! But if you don't like it at all then definitely not.
