My labor n delivery story.....

Sunday 3/6/16 night I started feeling some pretty good contractions. 3/7/16 Monday they got stronger and I started leaking some watery discharge and had a feeling it was my water leaking. I called my midwife to make an appointment and at 3 pm she could fit me in. She tested the fluids and sure enough my water had ruptured but my cervix was closed. I got sent to labor and delivery by 4 pm 3/7. I labored for a few hours and no progress and found that the 2nd layer of my water had sealed itself back together so they started me on pitocin to dilate more. Once I progress more they would rebreak my water. Well that time came and the contractions were coming on pretty strong. I wasnt progressing very fast and only made it to 6cm and was stuck. My lab result kept coming back worse n worse for pre-e. On 3/9/16 still stuck at 6 cm they decided it was time to do a c section cause baby girl and I was getting to sick. On 3/9/16 At 2:37 am I delivered by c-section Brooklynn Nicole Pierce 7lb 1.4oz 20in long. The c-section was a bad experience I could feel everything when they decided to stitch me up. So they knocked me out and I didn't get to meet my baby girl until 2 hours after she was born!😢 Been stuck here in the hospital all week just to keep getting told I'll have to stay longer cause my fever, or cause this n that getting really tiring n old just ready to be home!! I'm sick of being bothered every hour, having so much lab work done ime over it. But seeing this baby girls face everyday helps relax me!! I can not wait to just have our little family home hopefully tomorrow! I absolutely love you so much baby girl!! 💜
