New to this...bed rest, hospital stuff!!
My new home is my hospital room in the High-risk hallway. I'm 25weeks and 6days.
I thought all of this would be a quick in & out thing. I mean, I am a very healthy woman. Why would I have any complications?!
Well, tomorrow 3/16/16 will be a week and the doctors are telling me to get cozy. There are many factors going on: last weekend I went into labor and was lucky no fluids leaked; my cervix has gradually shortened; I have funneling; and even now some cramping. I've had steroid shots. And, I'm on progesterone suppositories in my vajayjay. Fun!
So! Next milestone is to get my little boy to 2lbs and check my cervix. This won't be checked for another week. 😐 I have a feeling I'm gonna be here for quite some time.
My SO has been a trooper sleeping on the couch/bed. I'd be a bit lost without him even though my family is amazing. He's stuck by me and this unplanned pregnancy. He just wants his first child, his son, to be strong. I am blessed.
