Would/Did you circumcise your male child?

What are your thoughts on male circumcision (the practice of cutting off the penis' foreskin, usually when the person is a newborn)?

I believe it's a personal decision for the mother and father to make, and nobody else's business.

Why would anyone willingly mutilate their child like that? That's not something we do in the UK, and I'm personally against it.

No. Not unless it became medically necessary. I see no reason to alter a penis just for looks.

I'm from the UK and it is not common there at all! I now live in the U.S. And here it is a lot more common so I really have no idea!!!

I didn't circumcised my sons when they were babies! I just wasn't comfortable doing it to them but a few years went by and they were beginning to get urinary tract infections and their foreskin would not retract so I ended up getting them circumcised at ages 5 and 2 hurt them alot more than if I had it done at birth :( . But it's definitely a personal choice

I've heard they use the skin from circumcision for expensive facial creams and there's a whole secret market to it. Could be wrong but.... My BF right now is what you call partial circumcised and I think it's done in traditional China (he's Chinese/Vietnamese). He still has his foreskin but he can pull it over the head or he can pull it down. I love it and plan on doing that for my kids.

I would! I personally in my own opinion think its good for baby. There r risk either way and in every chocie in life. I completely agree its a personal chocie between mom and dad thou.
