Is it safe to have sex in water?

I've heard it hurts but then other people have done it and been fine? Does it depend on what type of water you're in?

Me and my boyfriend were at the river swimming during the summer (it's on private property --- a friend of my boyfriend's family owns the property and no one can see down in there) and we were messing around with each other and got a little turned on. So we decided to have sex in the river. It felt amazing, and no problems with infections or anything.

I've done it in the bath tub but tried to make sure water didn't get directly inside because I heard it wasn't good for your vagina

You still have to use protection. And the water washes away the natural lubricant

It can cause your pH balance to get wack because you're washing away everything down there and doctors tell you not to wash inside your vagina and to just use water on the outside so having sex in water is okay if it's a quick I suppose. I don't like it and I've done it but it washed me out and was uncomfortable.

Its not that it isn't good it removes all lubricant both natural and none whig causes rug burn and slight tears and don't in pool the chlorine will hurt
