How true is the high heart rate- girl, low heart rate- boy theory? Our little pecan nuts heart rate is 165 bpm on 8w4d. Who remembers their heart rate at 9/10 weeks & ended up having a boy according to a low early heart beat or a girl? I'm very curious.

Baby was always 170+ and then eventually settled around 150 in later pregnancy. Was sure it was a girl... Nope. Little man on the way in a few weeks 😄

So here's my experience about those old wives tales. For me they were ALL wrong. Every single one told me I was having a girl, including the heart rate. So dumb haha. Best bet is when you get your ultrasound (18-20 weeks) you'll know the gender for sure.

My baby girls is 134 my nieces was always between 125-132 and my nephews was 160-180... It depends on how far along you are it gets slower as you get further along and what baby was doing before or during listening to the heartbeat.

I had a little girl and the old wives tell was true with her. At 8 weeks her heart beat was 176....and never got below 150 till I went into labor then it was 130

Anybody else remember the heart rate and now know what your having? They say a heart rate 140 and lower is a boy eventually and higher is a girls eventually... I just want to make a rough study with moms on here. My gut says we're gonna have a boy but with a high heart rate and high hormones with a lot of morning sickness,  everybody says it's gonna be a girl. I'll be over the moon either way 😊 just curious about other moms on here...
