Has anyone tried Elimination Communication?

I find the concept crazy and fascinating. At first I thought it could never work, but then I was able to train a puppy in 6 weeks with similar techniques, and it occurred to me that babies are smarter than puppies. Has anyone tried it? You can read more here too. http://www.diaperfreebaby.org

In all honesty...I find it ridiculous. To each their own but I think most of it is just luck if the infant actually goes in the toilet. Your baby, your choice but I feel it adds extra stress onto being a new mom.

It's interesting but you're chained to being near a toilet for a very long time. Not worth the stress for me. There is a window of time when baby is around 1.5 that you can try to capitalize on. Otherwise, it's not so bad if you wait until they are ready.  Some moms really love it, though, which is fine. Just don't feel bad if you decide it's not for you!
