Overwhelmed ?!!

Anyone else feeling overwhelmed? Only found out 2 days ago we are having twins . We are so happy as joked about it and said would be ideal 2 and done but feel it's just hit me today?! Being a mum for the first time anyway is s bit daunting but now it's 2 ! Wow! Hope it's normal

Yes very much. We were TTC for our first but never thought we'd be having twins. Honestly, it's terrifying. The thought of daycare cost has made me break down crying several times. And then I read about all the health risks and then I freak out again. I know we aren't supposed to say this out loud, but this is not what I was in the market for... BUT I know I will love these babes unconditionally and be the best mother I can be for them.

Oh yeah!! I cried and freaked out for about 1-2 weeks...like "How are we going to be able to take care if twins?!"....then, got past it and we are so happy and feel very blessed. They'll have a best friend for life, someone to  play with all the time when they're little and it will be double the love!!  **it gets better!

It can be overwhelming at times,I'm on my 3rd pregnancy and when we found out it was twins, I was slightly stressed out. We are going from a family of 4 to 6 and to me that was scary. But I know gods in control and has a plan and he blessed us with 2 babies. Good luck mamma you will do just fine.

Yes. It was a little shocking coming off of a miscarriage and getting pregnant right away with no history of twins in the family. Add to that my son will be just turning two before they arrive.

Me and my husband found out at 6 weeks and were in shock for a while and then it turned to being overwhelmed and now I'm 30 weeks and we are just anxiously awaiting the arrival of our twins. We already have 4 kids so we are going from a family of 6 to 8. It's hard to imagine life with two newborns but I just hope and pray that they come out healthy

Your not a lone it took me a while to adjust to the idea of having TWO babies. I'm 30 weeks now and I can't wait once we found out we were having boy/girl twins it just changed everything. Now I'm loving the idea of twins. It's a true blessing just give it time and it will get better I use to feel so guilty feeling bad about having twins but it will get better

I am 30 weeks and I have a toddler. I am definitely scared, but there's nothing we can do but hope for the best. It's shocking, to say the least, and I am probably going to be shocked when I actually have 2 babies in my arms at the same time. It's going to to be a crazy ride, but you won't ever know what it's like to have just 1, so its is better in some ways. It will just be your normal.
