So my boyfriend proposed to me last night!! What's the normal amount of time to have the wedding I was thinking in October but I don't know if that's too soon how long after did you all get married?!?!

Depends on how big of a wedding you want. If you're going to have over 100 guests and want the party to be big and beautiful, you need a year. Most wedding venues book 8months out. But if you're just wanting an intimate home or church wedding, 6months is probably fine. Just get the invitations out ASAP so people can plan ahead and RSVP in plenty of time.

We were engaged 6 months. I purposely planned it for 6 months out to avoid it getting bigger than we wanted. I was worried that if I gave our moms too much time, they'd turn it into an event. 😂

Depends on what your goin for.. If you want a fancy wedding at a venue, start to plan now and maybe September will be a good date

I got engaged a week ago and we are getting married on the 2nd of July this year, super short engagement but we don't need ages to plan a wedding and we just want to be together, I would say October is definitely a good time !

my parents engagement was 10 months It all depends on when u want to get married if u wanna get married super soon then do it if u wanna wait awhile and slowly plan it go right ahead
