I was 11 turning 12 when i first got my period and was not comfortable with the idea of wearing tampons but when i was 16 i wanted to go to the beach with my family for australia day but i had my period so i tried using a tampon and dont regret it, i dont even use pads anymore except for at night so i dont get TSS
They are honestly one of the best inventions

I didnt use tampons until maybe university, so 19... It felt funny to put it in and it hurt so much when i had to take it out, that was the biggest struggle. It got easier later on though.

25 years old. It was an emergency, the only thing available in the machine at college. I hated the feeling of it, and immediately took it out and put on a pad when I got home that day!

I got my period at 14, a month or 2 before I turned 15. I only used pads for the first month. I hated those mini diapers so much I got tampons the next time and it was so much better.

I was 11 on my first period. My best friends sister (who is now my sister in law) only had tampons. I read the instructions and inserted it without any problem. Been using them ever since.  I use Playtex Gentle Glide plastic applicator.
