Help!! Separation issues

Okay so me and my ex finace have not been together since Sept 2 last year I left him bc of my intuition as a women and left me for another co worker that he let come between us bc she simply cried for him and then he got weak they exchanged numbers now he left hw alone and dating someone else the problem is my kids are attached to him and I love him I feel like I have soul ties with him that I have to figure out how to break but how ? I go to church and getting my life back on track but he haven't he is a addict it hurts cause you always expected more from that person and feedback? I'm all about positive energy. ..
