Public hair removal?

I'm quite young but I feel pressured to remove my pubic hair even though I've never been in a sexual situation and won't be for a while, I shaved once but I think I did it wrong and i was so itchy it started to hurt, I know how to shave correctly but the whole microscopic wounds terrify me tbh. Waxing isn't an option period. Advice?!

You can always buy a trimmer.. I prefer this to a lot of methods. It can help keep the hair shorter without having the annoyance of razor burn and the stubble when it grows back! I waxed for awhile, and while it is decently painful, not having to shave or do any matience for a few weeks is totally worth it!
Also the right guy won't care what you do with your pubes. It's your body and your choice. My man wouldn't care if I grew a big bush and he wouldn't comment on it or love me less. But we both prefer when I trim and keep it soft!

If you don't want to shave, you should never feel forced to. That is a choice you make for yourself; it's your body. If and when you actually decide to shave because it is what you want, you should try trimming it beforehand. And when you shave, use coconut oil and go with the grain, and then against it. Hair always grows back so you'll have to deal with the itchiness that comes along with it. You don't have to shave everything. There are plenty of women that only shave their bikini area

I felt the same way when I was a high-school freshman. I did it once and spent the next few weeks in near agony when I walked. I vowed never to do it again. Only to try again months later and make the vow yet again. I wasn't sexually active until my jonior year and my boyfriend stated that he didn't like how much hair I had down there (he was very nice about it) and he accepted that I wasn't comfortable shaving. I tried shaving again, this time being VERY careful and doing everything exactly right and really, I prefer to be clean-shaven now but sometimes I can't keep it up. I just do what feels right and my boyfriend is okay with whatever I do. 
Anyway, my point is, don't feels pressured to do what you're not totally ready for. It's your body and if you're gonna remove your pubic hair, do it when you're ready.

Try trimming. Itchy is actually normal. Try using bikinizone gel when shaving. It will help. When waxing it will itch too, once the hair starts growing back. Don't feel pressured to do something you don't want/need to do.
