Announcing to someone struggling to conceive...

I have officially told all of my co-workers that I am expecting... The last person I told today is a longtime acquaintance who has been TTC for 7 months with no luck. She tried to be excited, but I could see she was devastated. She asked me how long I had been trying...and I was honest with her that it happened for my on the first try. She opened up to me a bit about her struggle, and I tried to reassure her that 7 months isn't out of the ordinary or anything to get overly concerned about.

I just feel like I completely ruined her day, but I didn't want her to find out from someone else. I feel pretty awful about it.
