I am 35 weeks; haven't had a test done, when should that be?

It isn't a required test. Most doctors will only recommend it if something out of the ordinary comes up on the ultrasound or if your age or medical history could be a contributing factor.

I got the harmony test done at 10 weeks and a couple of days and got my results a couple days later. My mums aunt has down syndrome so they tested for it. All they did was take blood like a normal blood test

Usually they don't suggest it unless there's s history of Down syndrome in both your families. If you are going to be 35 when you give birth, you are considered of advanced maternal age and they do recommend a blood test for downs and other conditions. The blood test is done at 10-13weeks, it also can reveal the gender of your baby. That's what I had, it is the less invasive option. The other two tests are either testing the amniotic fluid or the cells in the placenta. They are very invasive and have a risk. If downs, Trisonomy (there's 2 they test)  and u geeky eve turners runs in your family I suggest the blood test.
