Which birth control is the safest?

Im 22 and im planning on getting on birth control. Its the ring or the IUD more safe? Im not getting the shot because it cause weight gain. And the pill i might forget to take everyday

All birth control is safe, otherwise it would not be on the market.

Like all medications, Birth Control comes with some risk, you need to inform yourself on different methods, and weigh up the pros and cons for yourself, while keeping in mind that the horror stories are rare. Most people will complain about something when it fails, rather than sing praises when it works. For every horror story you have, you have about 10 good stories.

But really, just research, research, research. I can't stress that enough.
Research your options and learn as much as you can. Stick to peer reviewed medical documents and statistics, rather than personal blogs or support groups.

I enjoyed the ring for the most part, it was just hard taking it out. So, if you like getting your nails done, I wouldn't recommend it 😂. I'm on the patch now and I love it.

Most all hormonal birth control can cause weight gain, but the shot has some horror stories for many other reasons anyway. As far as which is "safest", I'm not really sure. They all have their risks. Never tried the ring personally, but it seems pretty safe from what I've heard.
