I have been trying to save my marriage past exhaustion. How did you know when your marriage was over?

Unless he is abusing you or cheating on you, my advice is stick it out. No one is perfect and we all go through phases, marriage is hard work. Good luck.

When you're just done. Flat out done. You don't have anything left to give. You don't desire to try. You aren't torn up about it anymore. You don't feel anything. You're just ready for it to be done and over with. My older sister just left her husband of ten years and she's never been happier. She mourned the loss of their relationship long before she left for good. She was just ready to move on.

I clicked your profile, I notice you had a baby a couple months back. I'm not saying it has anything to do with your situation but I don't want this not to be considered. Of course for all I know he could be a total douche and what I say has no application in your situation. But is there any possibility that you are experiencing postpartum depression? It's so common and it could effect relationships to the extent of divorce. I don't mean this offensively.

Probably when you feel like you have nothing left to give. When you feel like you aren't in love anymore. If they won't work with you.

At the beginning, you'll cry (ALOT) and you'll know  when that last tear drops. After that you'll feel relieved and you won't be sad anymore. It's not an overnight process and it'll take some time but, write out a list of pros and cons; if the good outweighs the bad (if religious, no offense intended) pray about it and try to work things out. Only YOU can know when it's over!

Not married to this person but when he constantly complained about cat hair everywhere and the cats being in bed with us or the meowing 😒 like sorry but my cats over him with his complainyasss I gotta be with a kitty lover not a hater *note I'm not a crazy cat lady I only have 2 lolol

I knew it was over when it began to affect my children. I could tell they were happier when we were apart.

When my little girl started talking. One day I was crying about my situation and this little girl looked up at me and said "mama no cry. Hug." It was very clear so I let that man leave. 5 years later I couldn't be happier. Met and married an amazing man that loves me and my girl. Oh and expecting a second girl :)

My ex husband went to jail for a probation violation. The first time he called me, he said he wanted a divorce. He said he didnt want to be with me anymore, and he wanted me to just go away. I knew he was lashing out because he was in jail, but when he said it I FELT NOTHING. I wasnt sad, heartbroken, nothing. So when he called back and said he changed his mind, I said I didnt care. I told him we were getting divorced and that was that.
