I feel like a terrible person!!

I feel like a terrible person!! Last night I got out at 12pm shift and on my way home I saw a little girl in the streets wondering around walking around 12:45 ish at night. And I thought "what the?" And made a turn to turn back around and I saw the little girl there again walk around she looked like she 4?? Couldn't see her face good enough. Had a long dress, long hair. I was so scared and just drove back home. I told my husband and he said I mest up and I should of saved her or called the cops 😢😢 but I was just so scared to even do anything to even roll my window down! She was literally just walking back and forth! What if she was some little ghost lol 😢😢 I feel so horrible till this point and can't stop thinking about it!
