Spotting on the pill?

I'm on the generic of LoSeasonique so I get my period every 12 weeks.  First pill pack went flawlessly, no issues.  I take my pill like clockwork, same time every day and never miss one.

When I was about 6 weeks through the second pill pack, I started spotting/bleeding. Same time every day.  After this went on for two weeks, I called the doctor and they said it was normal, just ride it out.  It finally stopped a few days ago.

Now today I have cramps and I'm bleeding again!  I'm not due for my period for another 4 weeks.

This sucks and I'm just looking for anyone with similar experience or just someone to commiserate with.  The doc said this should all level off during my third pill pack but bleeding every day is pretty much the worst.

That same bs happened to me, so I switched to the birth control Ogestrel and while you'll get a period every month, they only last about 3 days

I'm having the same exact problem on the same pill, I thought it was a pregnancy scare! My spotting is super light and so are the cramps but it still freaked me out!
