Can't remember if I took my tampon out

So Thursday night me and my girlfriends went to the bar for st pats. Well we had a great night and I woke up in bed the next day with a pad on which means I took the time to do that. But I don't know if I took my tampon out or not. I woke up with no blood or anything on the pad and my period has been really light these last two days. I'm not sure if it's because my body is still feeling sick and not hydrated enough because I know I haven't drank enough water. I tried searching with my finger but I can't find anything. Maybe I'm being paranoid I'm not sure... Anyone experience anything like this?
