How do you plan on delivering?

Trying to come up with a birth plan, and making heads or tails of the many different ways is making my head spin! What are you ladies planning on? Laying down, sitting, birth chair, on all fours, birth bar, pool, etc? Let's hear what your plan is and why

I plan on getting to the hospital and having a healthy baby that's all I have got for a birth plan hah

I didn't write one. Babies come in their own way and in their own time. You won't know until you're in that position what will work for you and in most cases the birth plan gets thrown out the window. 
Watch some birthing videos, whatever one sounds or looks like the least painful is the way to go :)

My doctor suggested I make a Birth Preferences list instead of a Birth Plan, as plans dont always go as planned. Not one single item on my Preferences list happened due to medical reasons. BUT i was not upset or dissapointed and I was incredibly pleased with how my birthing experience went, because 1.) I was consulted with and given information and choice at every possible turn, especially when my preferences couldnt be honoree.  2.) From the beginning I knew there was no expected "plan".

I'm open to whatever position. Probably squatting or in the pool/tub. With my first I was really against having a water birth, then at the last minute I begged for it and they tried to get it ready for me ASAP. Sometimes you just don't know until you go into labor what you want. I have a general idea of how I want to birth, like I did with my first, and I will be sticking to that: little to no medical intervention, no pain medication, able to eat and walk freely, and give birth in whatever position I want.

I didn't have time to write mine. I went into labor as I was writing it. Lol. 
also, almost all of the time, your birth plan doesn't go the way you want it to as your labor can either end wonderfully or scary leading to an emergency c-section. Good luck.

Plan to be open to whatever you planned changing. The most important outcome is healthy baby and healthy mama, sometimes medical intervention is required for that to happen. You can and should ask questions and be treated with respect just as you should respect the process. The women and or men taking care of your labor do it every day and have a lot of education and practical experience guided by evidence based practice. You will be in good hands, with good birth partners, consider the positives and negatives of interventions if and when they arise. Decide with your doctor what is best for you and baby. Your team is on your side. Have a good labor and birth mama, congrats!

I will be making a birth plan as there are some things that are non negotiable. For example, no episiotomy, no binkies, bath, or bottles for baby, no eye ointment. The rest will be considered suggestions, although truthfully in my head they are still non negotiable lol. No IV, though I will consent to a port if necessary, no constant  fetal monitoring, no mention of an epidural or pain medication. I told my midwife I want the hospital equivalent of birthing in a field, lol. Luckily she's completely on board!

Birth plans usually end up going to c sections for some reason.  Have a plan in mind but be open to interventions.
