What are your thoughts about announcing on Facebook?
I really would like to post this picture over easter but my partner doesn't want me to?

I personally don't like it...it's a bit confusing. .I don't have a problem with the cheesiness of it all. ..since all versions of announcements have been done. .and all have a bit of cheesiness..
This is. ..missing something. .. just my opinion.
Now,  aside from that,  I never understood why do u feel the need to ask other women what we feel about it, when YOUR SO Is the one that is not open to the idea.  I don't think that us saying omg this is great,  will by any means change his mind ...and honestly,  unless it was something very important that it MUST be done this way. ..I think it's best to find some common ground and both be happy about it. Us saying that it's 100%perfect, will not chance his mind. .and if u force him to agree to it,  then. ..obviously u didn't need us...since u will do whatever u want anyway. .
Personal opinion- talk it over and find something u both are comfortable and gap happy with. .

I would wait. Once the news is out then it's out and you have a long time to still be pregnant. People's questions and opinions can make the pregnancy that much longer. I never announced on fb with my first pregnancy until my daughter was born because I just thought it was too personal. My family and good friends knew and that was enough for me. Good luck with whatever you decide & your pregnancy :)

We're announcing on Easter! It'll be day 1 of 2nd trimester for us, so it worked out perfect!

I like it, my husband and I announced right away. But that was our choice everyone has there own time frame for when they are comfortable announcing.

That's cute! My husband and I are waiting until middle of April/beginning of May to announce on Facebook. I'm a little over 9 weeks today and we've told our family's but don't want to announce too soon. I wanted to wait til later to even tell our parents but they were starting to question since I was sick. Another reason I'm waiting to post to Facebook is I know once I do-my mom is going to be posting everywhere about it and she has a lot of "friends" she's met on teacher boards so she's never met them in person so I'm also going to be strict about pictures posted once we have our baby too(I was the same way with our wedding pictures)

That's so cute! My husband is anxious to announce our baby, and I'm a little hesitant still. I like this pic though!! I think I want to wait until 12 weeks to announce, I'm 8 weeks now. But I'd say when you and your spouse both feel it's the right time :]
