Dog got to Nuvaring, help?

My boyfriend had bee doing finger things and so he took out my Nuvaring. Do keep it from getting dirty the first place I set it was a magazine on the floor. Bad idea. I took a short nap afterwards, woke up, and my dog had gotten to it. I don't know what to do, do I just wash it and put it back in? It's a bit chewed up but not broken, I don't know how sanitary that'd be though even after washing it. I have a fresh one but my period isn't for another 10 days so I feel like that'd be a waste. I also feel like it's a bad idea to wait until my next period, I just don't know what to do. Any advice??
