What happened?

How many of you mommas had to have c-sections for one baby and then had a successful vaginal delivery with the next baby? I'm pregnant with number two and keep getting told by others that I will have no choice but to have another c-section.

It definitely doesn't mean you HAVE to have another c section! 
Talk to your doctor about a VBAC and see how they feel. If they won't even consider it, and it is something important to you, then find another doctor.

I had a c section with my 1st because I wouldn't go past 6cm, that was in 2007. I successfully pushed my daughter out in 2010

Vbacs are bery possible and a great success rate. It is recommended infact. Some hospitals are laxy and lack facilities and therefore pressure c sections to ease the pressure on themselves. But the choice is none but yours. I am hoping for a vbac this time after 2 c section eeeek

My sister had a c-section her first, and a vaginal birth her 2 nd.., so it's definitely options..

I had one with my youngest Karly I remember the doctor said that they had to do a C-section I told him no not without my husband my daughter came seven months premature they  figured out that I would deliver premature by doing test so they give me medicine to make sure her lungs and heart was fully matured when she was born

My doctor explained that it is more likely to be successful with a VBAC if your body progressed during labor (cervix dilated, water broken, etc). I had a VBAC after cesarean section! It went well, but did go pretty quickly!! 1hour + 45 minutes after water broke she flew out!!

I had an emergency c section with my first due to failure to progress after being induced at 37 weeks for severe preeclampsia. January of this year I had a successful VBAC. Just try to find a provider and hospital that is open to VBACs. Best of luck to you :)

That's not true my first was a csection and it took me a week to find a doctor that supports and will to a vaginal delivery with this baby for me. Some doctor's just don't do it though.

My sister did it. She had a c-section with her first due to severe pre-e and with her second she had him naturally if no problems.

It depends on the reason for your first C Section. Ask your doctor.
