My SO is and always will be an alcoholic. We've tried everything from detox (professionally and at home), rehab, cutting back to only weekends and so on. Nothing has worked. I need encouragement at this point. Someone to tell me that they've made it through this struggle. His fight is my fight. But I'm at my breaking point. I want kids, and so does he. We have everything we could have ever asked for, house, vehicles, jobs. Basically the means to raise a child. But I won't have one under these circumstances. What can I do at this point?
