Scared ..

Ok I'll be 40 weeks Friday and the longer I'm pregnant the more nervous I get about loosing my baby. I know people say that the longer he's in the womb the healthier he is but I can't help but have this really awful feeling that something bad is going to happen to my baby ... I think it's because In the time I've been pregnant both of my sisters have lost their babies one at 17 weeks and the other at 34. I know there's nothing I can do if something is wrong which as far as I know everything has been right on target but I just needed to vent. We are all ready for him but it's like I'm about to be woken up from a dream . Praying that everything is alright. Maybe some of you ladies are feeling the same way and tell me what u guys are doing to make ur self feel better .

I myself have been having this same dreadful feeling.... I'll just keep us and our babies in prayer.

I do too. Basically I just always always do kick counts. Stillbirth is almost always preceded by a couple days of decreased fetal movement, so if I ever failed one I'd go straight to the hospital and I figure they could induce or do an emergency c-section and then give baby medical care.

Are you still feeling lots of movements? Whenever I get super worried I give myself 30 mins to chill out, drink some juice or something and pay close attention to movements. If I feel baby during that time I stop worrying ... Usually only takes 10 mins to feel something.I also have a fetal doppler, I didn't use it for months and months but now the past two days baby has really slowed down so I used it yesterday for peace of mind.
