Toothpaste/nausea and vomiting when brushing my teeth
Ok, I am hoping someone out there will know this experience. I have nausea intermittently during the day, and nausea with dry heaves in the morning (nothing comes up because there is nothing in my stomach!)
HOWEVER, every time I go to brush my teeth, morning and night, I gag and vomit almost immediately and it's getting worse. In the mornings I understand because I already feel nauseous, but at night as I go to bed I don't feel that until I put a toothbrush with a dab of toothpaste in my mouth (and that dab is getting smaller in hopes that helps the situation-so far nothing). It is frustrating because I love having a clean mouth and after throwing up in attempts to brush my teeth, I can't clean my mouth without stuff coming up again!!! Nothing else is causing me to gag!
So what should I do? Any advice? I'm going to go try new toothpaste since that is the only recommendation my midwife has, especially as she has not heard of anyone having this issue. Beyond that it's just mouthwash (which I don't like).
