What counts as cheating?

For you, personally. 
Just wondering as my SO and I discussed this recently, after a friend of mine called me out on flirting with him (I didn't think it was flirting, but felt awful nonetheless). My SO basically laughed me off and told me not to worry about flirting. I have no problems with him flirting either. 
(All answers encompass those after them - e.g. Flirting is the starting point, you also count kissing and sex).

Flirting is not cheating but it's where things start to get inappropriate, especially in a marriage. If it's like a quick flirt with a cashier or whatever then it's fine, but if it's a flirtatious relationship with a coworker or someone you see on a regular then it's a no no. 
Touching another person, is where it begins as cheating. (Ass slapping, grinding in a club, kissing, cuddling, hand holding)

I don't consider it cheating but it is extremely disrespectful. I wouldn't be okay with it and neither would my partner. Every relationship has differnt boundarys it would count to some and not to others 😊

Cheating is anything that he wouldn't do in front of my face. 
If he wouldn't say something with me in earshot, it better not come out of his mouth. Secrets = lies in my book. I don't do that shit. If he wants to have secrets, he can have a bed to himself too, 'cause my ass is gone. Then again we have been together for 5 years

I'm flirty. I get nervous and act all stupid around, well anyone simi attractive. My husband laughs at me because he know it is because I'm just an awkward person. I'd be upset ifhe kissed someone and he the same. At the same time, I would know something wasn't right in our relationship and we needed to work on things. We've been married  almost 7 years and it can get rocky but 60 year marriages take work!

It's not about what you're okay with it's about respect and trust and not having eyes for anyone else, but the person you devoted yourself to. If being devoted to one person for the rest of you life means nothing then getting married is pointless..

I think that every relationship should have their own boundaries and each person should be aware and be respectful of what is comfortable to one another. Some people will be fine with their SO kissing other people, while some will be completely opposed to it. As long as it gets discussed, anything or nothing could be considered cheating.

Flirting and touching should not be grouped together. Personally, I would not consider flirting cheating, that's natural to me. I don't want to see it or hear about it, but I know it happens.. Sometimes unintentionally even. But touching? Definitely cheating if it is in anyway romantic.
