Prisons are very dangerous for the inmates so I can't imagine having a baby there. I'm not saying the mothers don't deserve their babies, but for safety reasons probably shouldn't keep them in prison.

I think it depends on the reason why they are in the jail in the first place tbh. But however they shouldn't get pregnant if they're in the jail because they've ruined their own lifes and bringing a tiny helpless baby into it is just sick as shit in my opinion

Why punish the baby? All the baby wants is its mom. The baby didn't commit a crime.

I think it depends on why they're in there in the first place and if they would be considered to be a threat to the child. If there in there for violent crimes or some sort of abuse crimes then perhaps they shouldn't be allowed around children.

In some prisons your actually able to keep baby for up to 15 months then give the baby to a family or friend until they are out .. I agreed they should however if the mother does not want the baby then no I believe it should be up to the mother

Depends. Violent offenders should not be allowed to see the child until the end of the sentence. If there is an end.
Nonviolent offenders should be moved to a separate facility where they can care for their child.

The baby won't remember being with their mom in prison. All they know is that they are with their mother. I don't see anything wrong with it up until the age of 1 or 2.

If the prisoner seems to be very responsible and won't harm the child in any way, then yes I believe the baby should be able to stay with the mother.
