In your own opinion is it acceptable for a mother to shower with her baby?

I think it's even more unacceptable for a person to be uncomfortable bathing with their own child, it's just showing what they are really thinking about. Especially as a baby or toddler. I mean at some point it is better for a child to have their own showers but up until 4-5 I think is okay.

I think the only thing uncomfortable about showering with your baby would be the lack of space and loss of use of your Arms

I showered with my mom until I was pretty old (like 10 ish? ?). But I never thought it was weird and had fun making weird hair out of soap bubbles and honestly l don't think it was weird for ME... but I doubt I'll shower with my kids past 5. If that. My daughter is almost 4 and very curious. I don't mind answering questions but sometimes i just want to relax in the shower and not be giving a biology lesson! ! (Like why women get periods, why is there hair down there, why do I shave,  etc.) My SO doesn't shower or bathe with our daughters becuase it's just not how he was raised. He never showered with parents or siblings, and though he answers honestly,  he doesn't like the anatomy questions. Haha I personally think it's different for everyone. Some parents may be uncomfortable with nudity in general, some kids may be more "hands - on" learners (making bath time uncomfortable and intrusive), some kids and parents may think nothing of nudity and it be no big deal (think hippie commune with nudists! Lol).

I don't think I'll ever understand people who think showering or bathing with their baby is uncomfortable. If you're worried about sitting in germs, shower first and then take a bath with them. I shower and bathe with my boy and his dad does too once he's done washing his hair. We plan on doing it for a lot longer as we think it's a great way to bond.

I don't see the point.... It's easier just to put them in the bathtub. I don't want to worry about drying my kid off while drying me off. I'm not trying to be all extra cold. Nah. ✋🏼 you do you though. Idc

I know I never did or if I did I was to little to remember. But both my husband and I do with our son. Not sure when we will stop. I will sooner then my husband I think by 3.

I can remember showering w my mom up until i was maybe 4, I didn't think it was weird and I still don't when I look back on it!

I think its fine. The only problem i would see is i like my showers really hot and i think it would be too hot for a baby. But thats a personal preference. I will probably shower in the future with my baby.

I shower and bathe with my 2 year old. Takes longer than usual bc i have to wash her too lol and she hates the shower water.
