Confused

Alright so I'm confused right now and I haven't ever typed anything on here before so please don't judge. Me and my husband have been off and on since Dec of 2008 we officially have been together since May 25 of 2013 we've been married since April 20th, 2015. I have 2 kids a little girl she will be 4 on September 4th and I have a little boy that will be 3 on September 10th. Well he has cared for my two babies since they was born and been through he pregnancies with me and if anyone ask they are his kids but we know different well we have been trying to have one of our own for a while now but here's the confusing part when we talk at home he wants another baby and he wants us to keep trying to have one BUT when we are around family and friends and the conversation comes up about another baby I'm all about it I want another one and I'm not ashamed by it but he avoids the conversation completely. I mean is it just a guy thing or something else? Anyone have an opinion
