Chronic Bronchitis and Pregnant

Hey friends.. I have chronic bronchitis and I have been coughing like crazy all day for last 2-3 days..called the nurse but all she says is to take warm water with honey and claritin for allergy ( which has not been helping) ..do you ladies have any remedies I can take? I feel bad for my baby..dont know how my coughing affects my little baby :(
