Interest??

Question

My boyfriend and I have been together for over a year, but sometimes I find myself losing interest, & then gaining it back. He can be kind of controlling in a sense, because he won't want me to go out with a friend, or wear a certain outfit. I'm not sure if this is a normal relationship. Any feedback?

Now I can relate to the outfit thing but in my case he feels that  some women don't have any respect for themselves and don't feel like my body is for the world to see. Even though I don't do it, but he HATES BOOTY SHORTS AND CLOTHES THAT ARE TOO REVEALING. I HAD THIS SHIRT ON ABOUT A MONTH AGO THAT SHOWED A LITTLE TOO MUCH CLEAVAGE. HE WENT BEZERK.  NOW THAT SHIRT IS IN TH THE DISCARD PILE. I HAVE A WONDERFUL MAN AND I'M NOT GONNA LOSE HIM OVER CLOTHES.  HE JUST DON'T WANT OTHER MEN LOOKING AT HIS WOMAN. IF YOU FEEL LIKE HE IS GOING TOO FAR, YOU NEED TO TAKE A STEP BACK. YOU ALREADY HAVE A DADDY, YOU DON'T NEED ANOTHER ONE.

My ex started out like that. I ended up losing all my friends and dressed in big comfy clothes. I learned the hard way. My SO now would never be controlling. Its my life. My body. If I dressed like I was going to film porn, obviously he wouldn't want me goin out like that, but I dont. I don't hang with friends that get me in trouble or try to get with me. Don't ever let anyone tell you who you can/cant hang out with or how to dress. Thats just the start of it.
