Mirena?

Question

Do any of you ladies have the Mirena IUD? My gynecologist recommended it to me today. I'm thinking on it. I've heard they fall out or aren't very good in protecting you from becoming pregnant. Any thoughts?

I had it put in postpartum after my first child, I didn't care for it. It made my cramps much worse and it ended up expelling in less than a year.

I had mine for 4 years.  I loved it at first but then i started getting bad cysts on my ovaries, and i gained 50lbs! I had mine removed in January and i have never felt better.  Im happier, no cysts, my body is becoming normal again.  I dont recomend it honestly. I hope this helps
