Can nexplanon break?

I just got the implant a few days ago. I keep checking it to make sure it's in place out of paranoia that it has moved. A piece feels uneven and I dont know if it a bend in the rod or just a difference in skin tissue. Worst case scenario going through my head is it's broken which may be very unlikely, but I was wondering if there is a way to tell if it is broken
