36w2d contractions?

Wow. I was just cooking dinner and my stomach tightened up like crazy and felt like some serious period cramps for a few minutes straight. Is that contractions? I didn't have Braxton hicks so idk what exactly I'm looking out for.  First time mom here freaking out a little... Lol

I'm almost 35 weeks and I have had BH a few times and had really strong period cramps for about 12 hours the other day. They say it's the baby dropping. I've felt fine for the last couple days now. You will probably start to get a bit of both happening now 😉

Sounds like a Braxton hicks - although generally they're painless, but I do find that they also give a crampy feeling later in pregnancy
