So I just realized today that the name we LOVE and were considering using for a girl, Evelyn, might be too similar to the name her would be second cousin has, Emmalyn (who was named after the great grandmother of the family who passed away they same year... A name we were originally going to use if we were to have a daughter). I figure they won't often go by anything more than "Emma" and "Evey" when they see each other at family dinners... But I don't know... I'll be really bummed if this name ends up getting shot down too. It is hard enough to agree on names we both really like as is.
