Early light period?

Okay I just have a quick question, this last month I've been on steroids for an allergic reaction & I was wondering if it would cause my pills to be unaffective. I'm about 3 days & having light cramps & some blood. should I be worried? I've heard of girls having spotting & what not while they're pregnant but I just wanna know about how much that is. Thank you for the help.

Probably not, the allergic reaction most likely stressed your body out. When your body is stressed, it might either have a really weird period, like your light one, or skip it altogether.

Next period, you may notice some brown discolored blood, that's because it's old blood and tissue leaving the body. Nothing to worry about unless you notice it happen again. It could indicate a hormonal imbalance, such as hyperthyroidism/hypothyroidism, or another health issue.

If it happens a couple more times, just head on over to your family clinic and talk to your gynecologist about it. She may do a blood test to rule out some hormonal problems.
