How do I go about getting the implant?

I really realllly need to go and get on birth control and ive been looking at the implant method, but how do I go about getting it done? I'm only 17 and at the docs they flip if I come in and they don't see my guardian so how the fuck am I suppose to go about doing this privatly?? They say you can go and have it done without consent here in california buuuut I'm not so sure about that....
