My baby boy was born yesterday at 34 + 2.  He is 4 lbs 14 oz and 19 inches long. So far he's needed an Iv for fluids and they are keeping him in the nursery for monitoring. Today they are going to try to feed him for the first time with a bottle. They said his oxygen has dropped a few times (not anything too significant - but enough to notice) but he has been able to get it back up himself without needing to wear oxygen . They said once he hasn't done that in 24 hours he can be in the room with me.
