We knew that our baby girl would probably come early due to my insufficient cervix. We just didn't think it would be this early! I started having premature labor symptoms on Wednesday the 23rd and came to the hospital as instructed by my doctor. at that point I was 30 weeks 3 days pregnant. Turned out I was dilated 1 cm and my contractions started to become slightly painful. They admitted me and gave me a couple steroid shots for her lung development and put me on a magnesium drip for 24hrs. Thursday evening they look me off the iv and wanted me to stay overnight for observation and they were going to let me go home Friday. Well, at 330 a.m. I woke up with pretty heavy contractions. I hoped and prayer they would stop, but they only got stronger and more frequent. At about 5:45 my water broke. I was prepped for a c section and my baby girl was born at 7:39a.m. she weighed in at 3lbs 14oz and is 17 inches long!! Or due date was May 29th but i guys Match 25th was more suitable to her, lol. Other than having a feeding tube she does not require any other machines or assistance. She is breathing just fine on her own and is so beautiful and perfect 💕💕💞
