I know that sounds silly. But this is mainly for moms who have experienced actual labor before, and know how to be sure 100%. I am a ftm, and I have been having these incredibly hard pains all day and it got me thinking about how I don't really know for sure what to expect.

The braxton hicks contractions have felt like tiny period cramps, but I am really only guessing there too, considering I've never had mentstrual cramps before. But the pains I am feeling now start off as feeling similar to round ligament pains, but they wrap around my entire stomach making it hard, and then to the middle of my back.

I am curious how you all would describe your contractions if someone were to ask you.
