Does early severe symptoms indicate twins?

I have been feeling symptoms since 10 days BEFORE expected period. The nausea and EXTREMELY sore breasts mainly. This is my 4th pregnancy (one ended in mc sadly) and with my 2 children I've NEVER experienced sore breasts the whole pregnancy. But at 10 weeks before my period I considered a breast exam because it hurts so bad, to even wear a bra. Then I found out I'm pregnant. Anyone else with twins experience heightened symptoms early? And I'm already showing at 5 weeks.
