Boyfriend trouble

I've only been with my bf for 2 months and he hates spending any nights apart and always gets really upset and makes me feel guilty for wanting a night to myself. Sometimes he tells me that all he needs is me and doesn't care about his friends anymore and I don't know what to do! I love him but it's getting suffocating and I want him to have more independence! Thoughts?
